The UK Metals Expo (4-5 November 2026) will once again bring together the entire metals supply chain for two days of networking, collaboration and industry insight at the NEC in Birmingham. The programme opens on Wednesday 4 November with A View from the Top, with a discussion and question time with Gareth Stace of UK Steel. Other headline sessions throughout the day will explore CBAM, the sustainability drivers of customers, steel scrap and the UK's electric arc furnace journey, the impact of tariffs and quotas, and the growing role of AI and technology in manufacturing.
On Day 2, sessions include a panel discussion on ‘Made in the UK’, a steel CEOs roundtable, and then further sessions on steel reuse in construction, men's mental health in industry, and attracting the next generation into the sector featuring some of the brightest new talent in the industry.
Whether your interests are in steelmaking, sustainability, building, manufacturing, trade policy or technologies, there will be plenty of opportunities to gain some fresh perspectives and join the debate.
