The steel is processed at Tata Steel UK in the normal way and transformed into coated steels, tubes, building products and more to meet our customers’ specifications.
It’s the same products our customers know but with significantly lower embodied CO₂ , bringing the future of responsible steelmaking into the hands of customers today. Evolve represents a conscious move toward greater circularity and measurable carbon reduction - delivered by sourcing high quality electric arc furnace steel substrate. This step paves the way for Tata Steel UK’s transition to its own EAF, set to come on stream in late 2027 quality electric arc furnace steel substrate.
