At the event Tata Steel will be showcasing our plans to decarbonise steelmaking by investing in state-of-the-art electric arc furnace technology, transforming the industry, and underpinning the British manufacturing sector. The transformation represents the single largest investment in UK steelmaking in many decades.
The Big Issues theatre, sponsored by Tata Steel, will feature a packed programme of panel discussions looking at a wide range of themes including UK industrial strategy, decarbonisation, energy, digital legislation, the transition to EAF, scrap strategy, the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and steel reuse in construction. Over thirty experts from across a broad range of industries will be joining the panel discussions during the course of the two days. View the conference programme here.
