Trisofix® has been developed for use in the construction sector in conjunction with Reform Systems Ltd, using their patented technology originating in shop fitting and exhibition spaces where speed of fit, demounting and relocating were primary drivers.

Trisofix® comprises a small set of standardised high grade coated steel components which fixes back to any structural wall type for use throughout a building, for internal fit out or external facades. The roll formed components can be produced at scale and the mounting system is available for use with third party products. As a single universal method for attaching a kit of pre-finished parts to a building, Trisofix® will transform the safety, speed, cost, and environmental impact of building and operating an asset.

Trisofix® speeds up onsite construction by reducing sequencing conflicts between trades, and enables internal fit out solutions to be ‘mounted’ with a simple ‘push fit’, providing an accessible service cavity within, making the mechanical and electrical installation a much faster and easier to adapt process.

Whilst the ‘Designed for Manufacture and Assembly’ (DfMA) approach taken with Trisofix® can deliver significant upfront carbon reductions, it is ‘in use’ that an even greater benefit can be derived. To facilitate a change of building use typically requires the removal and replacement of walls, generating landfill waste and the delivery and installation of new materials. Trisofix® enables this adaptation with its simple demounting and relocation capability, performed with a simple push fit.

Trisofix® has already been deployed by Tata Steel for internal wall fit outs on both new build and refurbishment projects. Utilising Trimawall®, an internal panel system, together with the Trisofix® universal mounting system, delivers a strong and versatile alternative to traditional building materials. Trimawall® interior panels can be supplied with a wide choice of Advantica® or Colorcoat® pre-painted finishes, which when combined with Trisofix®, requires no wet trades and avoids on-site plastering dust and fumes.

When combined with Tata Steel’s transition to EAF steel making technology in Port Talbot, the Trisofix® universal mounting system can truly deliver on lower whole life carbon.
