The project set out on 18-acre site aimed to create a purpose-built warehousing and distribution space to support existing and expanded lines of production. Developer Stoford Properties Ltd said it had been "a significant development of a challenging site, parts of which were historically used for landfill".

The site comprises two large warehouses, one occupied by Task, and the other formerly occupied by Fablink.
Stoford Properties Ltd has already commenced demolition of the vacant unit which paved the way for an 83,500 sq ft extension to Task’s existing premises and the construction of a new c.125,000 sq ft development on the same site. Both units will target BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification.
To achieve the BREEAM target for the development, TCP utilised over 10,500m² of Building Systems UK's Trisobuild® assembled insulated roof system - backed by the multi decade Platinum Plus system guarantee. This project not only reflects TCP's commitment to quality but also its dedication to durable and sustainable solutions.
The Trisobuild® roofing system played a significant role in supporting Task Consumer Products ambition to achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating, particularly in the following areas:

Dan Gallagher, Joint Managing Director of Stoford when asked about the project said: “We’re delighted to have transformed it into a modern, sustainable headquarters for Task that will support its growth for years to come. Furthermore, it brings disused brownfield land back into use – helping support our move towards a sustainable economy.”
The new headquarters will provide purpose-built warehousing and distribution space, and support existing and expanded lines of production. It is expected to create up to 50 jobs in the local area.
