Alongside showcasing Tata Steel’s renowned Colorcoat® pre-finished steel products, the team will also discuss Tata Steel UK’s transition to low-carbon steelmaking — a transformation underpinned by a £1.25 billion ($1.65 billion) investment at its Port Talbot site in South Wales to install a state-of-the-art Electric Arc Furnace (EAF).

This landmark investment — the single largest in UK steelmaking for decades — will cut direct CO₂ emissions at Port Talbot by almost 90% (scope 1), equating to around five million tonnes per year. Starting in 2027–2028, it will also enable Tata Steel to supply its market-leading Colorcoat® products with EAF substrate, reducing their carbon footprint up to 50%. Renowned across the industry for offering enhanced durability, corrosion resistance and aesthetics, Colorcoat® products are used globally for building envelope, roof and wall cladding systems in a wide range of industrial and commercial buildings available in North America and Canada through our local supply chain partners.
