Offices – For internal dry environments the ComFlor® MZ140 

 finished decking would be the most cost-effective coating option, available for all our ComFlor ® profiles. MagiZinc® is an innovative Zinc Magnesium coating replacement for conventional galvanised steels. By adding and blending Magnesium and Aluminium into the Zinc coating, Magizinc® gives a superior performance over standard galvanised coated decks resulting in longer expected life.

Car Parks – for semi aggressive environments that car parks can be subject to, like windblown rain and exhaust fumes, an even more durable coating is required. ComFlor® MZ310 is another MagiZinc® finish that is designed for such challenges and is available with a guarantee of 25 years in environments up to and including C3. with the added benefit that you can still ‘through deck’ weld the shear studs. ComFlor® MZ310 is available for our complete ComFlor ® profile range.

Exposed Decks – a cost effective aesthetically pleasing option for the ComFlor ® 51+, 60 and 80 profiles is to go with the new FD+ finish and leave the underside of the deck exposed. ComFlor® FD+ composite steel floor decking with Colorcoat Prisma® has been developed and optimised for floor deck applications. The FD+ finish, as standard, is white on the exposed underside, both reflecting available light and providing an aesthetic finish. The topside of the deck has a galvanised finish where the concrete will be laid.
